oh as in instead of push notifications? great idea.
Updating your feedback to contain one item (easier for other people to vote something specific up). A filter on the main screen is a great idea - show all/show undelivered/show delivered

Your suggestion to reorder items is similar to http://userecho.com/FECn - please vote that up.

Your suggestion to have a compact view option is similar to http://userecho.com/FECq - please vote that up.
the splash screen? yeah sorry this will have to stay as a fair bit is happening in the background as you see that splash screen. once we add multitasking support, you wont see it as often though I promise.

thanks for the feedback though!
Not sure abou this one, for the following reasons.

1) To do it requires me to know the location of every tracking event, figure out the timezone for that location, then convert according to the user's timezone. That is all possible.. EXCEPT only a small portion of the 63+ carriers we support even provide semi-decent location information for each tracking event (many don't provide any at all which would make this impossible). So the fact that it could only be done for the big names such as Fedex, UPS etc is one concern as it would lead to confusion and more questions from users.

2) I know I would get comments from people saying "Information in Posted doesn't match whats on the website". Making it a user preference would help alleviate this though.

3) I am also not comfortable with "messing" with the tracking information from the providers. In many ways, showing the times of the tracking event for the location where the parcel was makes a lot of sense. Its a logical combination of data (time, event, location) - changing one element of this (time) may not be a good idea.
Yeah just a bit wary of using the companies actual logos.. its a violation of their terms of use and/or copyright :) maybe could just use some coloured text in the company colours..
Thanks for the suggestions. Do you have an example tracking number?
Good idea. Only problem is that because the app supports so many providers (65+) it makes it very difficult to safely implement this across all providers. The big carriers like UPS, DHL, TNT, Fedex & UPS would be easy for this, but the small-time carriers are more difficult to know what the "Out for Delivery" status updated actually are in their systems - sometimes they vary wildly too.

Not ruling this one out.. just will take a lot more effort than might be thought.
