App crashes when deleting a tracked item
Hi,
This seems to be systematically reproducible for me. If the app has trouble updating a tracked item/parcel, it will display a red banner (I.e. a request has timed out). If you then swipe the item and select 'Delete', the app will freeze and then crash.
Not a major issue, no data seems lost/corrupted. It occurred while I was on 3G (perhaps an inconsistent data connection led to the request timing out).
At any rate, I love this app and continue to use it regularly. Great job and keep up to good work! ;)

Thanks. The red error message indicates either:
a) Postedapp's servers aren't responding
b) The postal company website isn't responding (quite common for China Post/Hong Kong Post in particular)
c) Your device is not able to connect to the internet with a strong enough connection
When deleting a parcel, the app will try to connect to the net if you have push notifications or account sync enabled. However, if it is unable to connect to the net about that, it should show up an error message (not crashing!!).
I will need to take a look at this again - can you let me know if you do use push and/or account sync? Just so I can narrow down where to look for the bug.
Regards,
Leeane
I'm using push notification only. I suspect that it is either problem (b) or (c).
Hope that helps and good luck to you.

If you sync your devices with iTunes, they will be located in:
Mac OS X : ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\
Windows Vista: C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\
And will start with "Posted_".
If you are able to, please zip them up and email to help@postedapp.com
if that is all a bit too much work, don't worry about doing the above, it will just help me pinpoint the issue a bit better. But in any case, thanks for letting me know about the problem.
