Yep it very much didn't work.

I have just converted this over to the mobile site as the source for information - it seems to be working a lot better from my testing. I will keep an eye on it for the next day or so.. but please do let me know if you see an improvement or if the issue persists.

Only downside is that the mobile site only has tracking results available in German... whereas before I could present the information in English for english users. So not sure if that will be a problem for you or not.

Hi Thomas, Very sorry, there was a slight change on the DHL Germany website which was causing this to not work very well anymore. I believe I have fixed this now so please let me know if the problem continues.
This is already in the app, please look under "China"
Hi, please email help@postedapp.com and let me know which postal companies you mainly use (so I can make sure that they work OK in the alpha version of the web interface).
thanks for you help.

stamps.com is now working if you add a parcel as a USPS parcel. a note will be added in the next release so people know.
Yep the crash is what is more concerning for me! I will need to handle that better. Is there any way you might be able to send me the crash reports?

If you sync your devices with iTunes, they will be located in:

Mac OS X : ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice

Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\

Windows Vista: C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\

And will start with "Posted_".

If you are able to, please zip them up and email to help@postedapp.com

if that is all a bit too much work, don't worry about doing the above, it will just help me pinpoint the issue a bit better. But in any case, thanks for letting me know about the problem.

Hi Jourdan,

Thanks. The red error message indicates either:

a) Postedapp's servers aren't responding

b) The postal company website isn't responding (quite common for China Post/Hong Kong Post in particular)

c) Your device is not able to connect to the internet with a strong enough connection

When deleting a parcel, the app will try to connect to the net if you have push notifications or account sync enabled. However, if it is unable to connect to the net about that, it should show up an error message (not crashing!!).

I will need to take a look at this again - can you let me know if you do use push and/or account sync? Just so I can narrow down where to look for the bug.

Regards,

Leeane

I can see your parcel hasn't been updated very much by USPS... not since April 26th.

Unfortunately, I am the developer of the Posted application and am unable to give you any further information about your parcel - I just don't know any more than what you and I can see on the USPS website, sorry.

You will be best to get in contact with USPS directly to ask about your parcel - please use the https://www.usps.com/customer-service/customer-service.htm webpage to contact USPS.

Hope this helps, sorry I cannot be of any more assistance.

hi, as amazon can only be tracked by signing in to your amazon account, i am unlikely to add this due to security reasons. if you know of an api let me know.

apple is more likely as you can track by order number and postcode only... but i really need more apple order numbers/postcodes to be provided to me so i can do more testing. if you can provide this, please email help@postedapp.com
thanks for the feedback, i will add something like this to my todo list - it is a long list so I cannot promise how soon it can be added as I have to prioritise based on popularity of the request.
